Analysis on the change of regional economic difference in Jiangsu Province since economic reform

The regional economic difference at three levels i.e.the first level of southern Jiangsu,middle Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu,the second level of 13 cities,the third level of 64 counties in Jiangsu was measured with fixed prices,and a comparative analysis was made.The analysis results showed there was a trend of enlargement of the absolute and comparative difference in Jiangsu with obvious phase characteristics during 19782000.The lower the level were(the smaller the regional units were),the larger the regional economic difference became.
