Application of Colorful Trees for Landscape Afforestation in the North

On the basis of introducing the leaf plant of spring scenery,color leaf plant,frequently color leaf plant and spot color leaf plant,some principles of colored-leaf trees in landscaping were pointed out,such as biological habit combined with ecological habit,ornamental characteristics combined with ecological functions,coincidence with aesthetics principle.Colored-leaf trees application status and existing problems in the north were analyzed.Moreover,some proposals were put forward,such as expanding fine colored-leaf trees introduction,improving the resistance of excellent colored-leaf trees and developing more local species.
