The Species and Landscape Application of Ever-colored Leaf Trees in Shenyang Area

Because the leaf color of ever-colored leaf trees is color,it is very important in enriching plant landscape and building landscape effect.In this paper,field investigation was adopted to survey ever-colored leaf trees in main parks and main streets in Shenyang.The results showed that there are 24 species of ever-colored leaf trees,subordinate to 10 families and 17 genera,in which arbors has 10 kinds,shrubs has 14 kinds,is 41.7% and 58.3% of total species respectively.Most species showed good,but Weigela florida cv.Aurea and Weigela florida cv.Variegata and other species were ordinary,so the causes should be deeply studied or its application is limited.According to main problems on application of ever-colored leaf trees,some suggestions were put forward.
