An Explorative Study of the Relationship between Cewen in the Final Imperial Examination and the Current Politics in Early Qing Dynasty

As an important aspect of the imperial civil service examination,Cewen not only has the value of electing talented persons,but also has intense relationship with current politics.During Shunzhi,Kangxi,and Yongzheng period in Qing Dynasty,Cewen had ever been adopted,the emperor always issued imperial edict about the final examination,elaborating the aim of Cewen,involving various aspects about social problems such as officials management,people's livelihood,customs,education,flood and transport by water and so on.The process of Cewen also reflects that Cewen in the final imperial examination has been more and more perfect.Cewen proves to be more advantageous to elect talented persons and it presses close to social actuality compared with other examination aspects.
