Research and Optimization of AGC Control System in a 300MW Power Generation Unit

Abstract

This paper takes the 5th 300MW power generation unit in Yangliuqing Power Plant of Huaneng Group as an example.The control system is too slow to respond to load change and is hard to meet the functional requirement of Automatic Generation Control(AGC) from power grid,so it is necessary to optimize related control systems,including coordinate control system,primary air control system of mills,coal pulverizing control system and so on.Moreover,some parameters of the control systems have been regulated again.After this optimization,the 5th power generation unit has been put into operation for load dynamic and stationary tests respectively.The result shows that all kinds of indexes of distributed control system can meet the demand of AGC functions,and the main operating parameters are satisfied.Through this optimization,the control quality of AGC system is improved.
