Abstract
The effect of applying multi-frequency ultrasonic in cotton fabric dyeing with direct dyes was investigated, and the ultrasonic dyeing was compared with conventional ones. The ultrasonic showed obvious dyeing acceleration when cotton was dyed with direct dyes. The dyeing rate and dye uptake were increased. The dyeing results were the best and dye uptake was maximized at the ultrasonic frequency of 28 kHz.
