Abstract

Qing government began to send garrison,set up organizations and authority to keep management throughout Xinjiang after its consolidation in period of Emperor Qianlong.Therefore,Xinjiang area was managed effectively,and uniform situation was consolidated.Then a number of historical archives,among which most were Manchu archives,were formed by emperor,general on garrison duty,counselor,minister and commander when dealing with routine affairs in Xinjiang.These Manchu historical materials and archives are of great importance for us to research due to their abundant contents and extensive scope.
