A study on the Pressure on Regional Tourism Ecological Based on Ecological Footprint of Liaoning Province

This article uses the concepts footprint,tourism ecological and ecological pressure and calculation model to make the quantitative analysis on the ecological footprint of tourism,tourism,eco-tourism eco-pressure deficit and the dynamics in Liaoning Province between 2000-2005,and to put forward many measures to mitigate the pressure on eco-tourism.The results show that the eco-tourism has brought great pressure on the environment following Liaoning rapid economic development,especially the increase in tourist visits and the tourism and ecological deficit as well as the tourism and ecological pressure index have increased year by year,bringing about ecological risks on the sustainable development of tourism industry in Liaoning.The way of achieving sustainable tourism development in Liaoning is to reduce the pressure on eco-tourism and to reduce the deficit throughout the improvement of ecological construction.
