Abstract
The allelopathy of the exotic invasive plant,Solidago canadensis L.was studied. The result showed that the extract of aerial and underground part of S.canadensis, and aqueous extract of rhizosphere soil of S.canadensis displayed obvious allelopathy effects on the germination and growth of young seedlings of the tested plants. The research preliminarily proved the chemical mechanism of the plant.
