Abstract
Objective:To observe the apoptosis of cancer cells induced by influenza virus. Methods:Hela and Raji cells cultured in vitro were infected by influenza virus and their apoptosis profiles were observed and detected at different times after infection. Results:The infected cells showed apparent changes in growth characteristics and morphologies;DNA agarose gel electrophoresis showed characteristic “ladder;Apoptosis peaks were observed by flow cytometry;and the apoptosis ratios were proportional to the times of post infection. Conclusion:Influenza virus can induce Hela and Raji cells to undergo apoptosis in vitro.
