Abstract
Objective To observe the influences of Simvastatin on serum lipids and markers of inflammation at early stage in the patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods 113 casrs with were divided into treatment group with Simvastatin and control group without Simvastatin according to the serum levels of TG, TC, LDL-C, HDL-C, IL-6and CRP, the treatment group received simvastatin 20mg /d. All the parametes were assayed again before they left hospital. 30 healthy people were measured as healthy coutrol group. Results The levels of IL-6 and CRP in treatment group were lower after treatment (P0. 05). Conclusion Simvastatin has anti - inflammatory therapeutic effects in patients with ACS at the early stage.
