Abstract

Green compound of Cu with CAS in the presence of CTMAB has been studied in this article. The molar ratio of copper to CAS and CTMAB is 1∶2∶1,The max absorption is at 618 nm.The apparent molar absorptive is 8.6×104 L·mol-1·cm-1.Beer′s law is obeyed in the range of 3.0~29 μg/25 mL. The method has been applied to the determination of copper in aluminum alloys and the result is satisfactory.
