Abstract
In order to explore the ecological toxicity of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate(DEHP)on algae,effects of DEHP on the growth of(Scenedesmus obliquus)were studied.The exposure concentrations of DEHP were 0,5,10,20,40,80mg·L-1,After 96h exposure,the cell density and photosynthetic pigment content of Scenedesmus Obliquus were examined.Results showed that,after 96h exposure,the cell densities in exposure groups were significantly lower than those in control group(p 0.05).The cell densities decreased with the increase of DEHP concentrations.The contents of Chlorophyll a and Chlorophyll b in exposure groups were also significantly lower than those in control group(p 0.05).The contents of Chlorophyll increased slightly at the low concentrations(5,10mg·L-1)and decreased at the high concentrations(≥40mg· L-1).DEHP had little effect on carotenoid,and no significant difference was found between groups except for the significant decrease of carotenoid content in 80mg·L-1 group.
