Reflection on the Teaching Reform of College English in the New Situation

Abstract

Mr. Deng Xiaoping has said that science and technology is the key productivity,but it is the talents who make the great influence on the development of science and technology. Therefore,cultivating talents should be put in the important position in college education. As an important part in the college education,college English teaching must change its traditional teaching mode so as to build up a multi-level and multi-class teaching mode to meet the needs of society and foster new-style English talents.
