The WTO Regulations and Countervailing Legislation in China

The subsidies and countervailing agreement is a part of agreement on cargo trade, and WTO parties has reached the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures and Agreement on Agriculture through consultation. There are special provisions of countervailing measures and remedy measures of prohibitive subsidies in developing countries in WTO regulations. Chinese government has made concrete promises of countervailing in the Report of Entering into Working Group of China. To maintain the order of foreign trade and fair competition, China is implementing Countervailing Regulations.
