Study on the Synthetic Evaluation of the Urbanization Level for Central Henan Urban Agglomeration

On the basis of designing the index system of regional urbanization measurement, a synthetic factor to measure the urbanization level of 9 cities in central Henan urban agglomeration was generated by using factor analysis. According to the measurement results, we make a basic judgment for the process of urbanization, then divide them into 3 different gradient types. The reasons of the regional disparity of urbanization level were analyzed, and the basic conception of the regional urbanization development in central Henan urban agglomeration was put forward.
