Abstract
In order to investigate the pollution of Pb and Cd on the vegetable in suburb of Lishui,the content of Pb and Cd in 116samples of vegetables and 80samples of soil from five vegetable bases in suburban area of Lisui City were detected.In addition,the status of heavy metal contents and the severity of pollution and health risk were also evaluated.The results showed that the single pollution index of Cd were 2.57,2.43,1.50,1.48and 1.23,respectively,which were all greater than 1and indicated that pollution from heavy metal Cd existed in all of the five vegetable bases.The single pollution index of Pb were 0.44,0.42,0.48,0.56and 0.32,respectively,which were all less than 1and indicated that pollution from heavy metal Cd did not exist in all of the five vegetable bases.The single pollution indices of Pb and Cd in the leafy vegetables found in the base at vicinity of Stone Bridge in Shuige Industrial Area were 1.21and 1.02.The numbers were greater than 1,suggesting the health risk from heavy metals exists.The single pollution indices of Pb and Cd in the leafy vegetables around Nongchang road,Shuinan village,Chengxi village,central primary school of Bihu were less than 1,which indicated that there were no health risks from heavy metals.The contents of Pb and Cd,single pollution indices and comprehensive pollution indices of leafy vegetables were higher than that of non-leafy vegetables.The contents of Pb and Cd,single pollution indices and comprehensive pollution indices in roots of vegetables were higher than that of edible part of vegetables,which indicated that the heavy metal accumulation ability of leafy vegetable was higher than non-leafy vegetable,root of vegetable was higher than edible part of vegetable.
