Abstract

The shape of the subdivision surface and the final object model are determined by the initial control mesh given,it’s unad-justable.An adjustable subdivision surface scheme based on arbitrary topological meshes to design adjustable subdivision surfaces using a control parameters is presented.Kinds of subdivision surfaces is created by changing the parameter. Some examples of the subdivision surfaces given demonstrate the simpleness, flexibility and efficiency of the algorithm.
