Abstract
The antibacterial effects of nanometer material,copper-selenide powder,on E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus were investigated at qualitative and quantitative levels by determining inhibition zone, minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration(MBC).The results of inhibition zone showed that the copper-selenide had good antibacterial properties. The MIC of copper-selenide against E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus were 30 mg/L.The MBC of copper-selenide against E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus were 220 and 180 mg/L,respectively,and the sterilizing rate at these concentrations reached 99%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
