The effects of different medium formulations on growth of Pleurotus nebrodensis

In this experiment,different medium formulations were used to compare their effects on the growth of the mycelium and fruitbody of Pleurotus nebrodensis.The results indicated that: formulation F1,F2 and F4 had significant effects on the growth of mycelium of Pleurotus nebrodensis and the yield of its fruitbody.This suggested that in the production of Pleurotus nebrodensis,corn cob and the mixture of corn cob and wood chips could be used as medium instead of cottonseed shell.This would provide a new raw material resource for Pleurotus nebrodensis producers.
