Studying about the Transformation of the Main Kinds of Educated Mode of Tang Dynasty

From The Book of Whole Tang Dynasty and Dazhaoling of Tang Dynasty, we have found the orders about the civil service education sent out by the emperor .Yet we still can't say that the scholars in Tang Dynasty accepted education mainly from the public education. Controlled by the examination systems of Tang dynasty ,it was divided into two periods by DEZONG ZHENYUAN times of mid-Tang: At the early period, the public schools were numerous and prosperous because the more admitted students were at school; but at later period because of the decline of the public schools, the more admitted students did not go to school. As a result, the private education occupied the main position instead of the public schools. As a result of variation, on one hand it broke the respects of the people for the public schools; on the other hand it was good for the solution of financial difficulties of the country. And all these suited the whole profit of Tang dynasty.
