Central lymph node dissection in differentiated thyroid carcinoma of which clinical cervical lymph node is negative (cN0)

Objective To discuss the range of the lymph node dissection in differentiated thyroid carcinoma at the stage of cN0.Methods Retrospective analysis of 106 patients with differentiated thyroid cancer at the stage of cN0 that had undergone lymph node dissection of central group,explore the range of the cervical lymph node dissection in thyroid carcinoma with literature.Results Followed up from 6 months to 66 months postoperatively,no patient recurred.Conclusions Preliminary analysis showed that,applied to lymph node dissection of central group in differentiated thyroid carcinoma at the stage of cN0 is safe and feasible.
