Abstract

Based on core facies analysis and in combination with lithology, sedimentary structures and rock grain size, it is believed that Reservoir Eha I - III in Xinzhuang Oilfield deposited in a fan - delta sedimentary system. Fan - delta front sub - facies is predominant and microfacies include underwater distributary channel, mouth bar, marginal sandbody and sand sheet A three - dimensional facies mode of fan- delta is built; the lateral distribution pattern of sedimentary facies is analyzed; and the control of sedimentary facies on reservoir physical properties and oil -bearing properties is discussed. These studies lay a geological foundation for comprehensive evaluation of reservoirs and prediction of favorable reservoir facies belts.
