A study on the Flora of Spermatophyte in the Nature Reserve of Matou Mountain I. Flora of Family

The Nature Reserve of Matou Mountain, with its area of 19650 hm~2, N27°40′50″~27°53′52″,E 117°09′11″~117°18′, is situated in the middle of the range of Wuyi Mountains.The altitude of the dominant peak in this area is 1364 m.It is one of the areas with richest species of spermatophyte florae in Jiangxi Province, which has 1498 species of seed plants belonging to 174 families and 668 genera.The results of analysing the flora of families show some characteristics as follows :tropical families make up 49.4% of all the families in this flora,which reflects that the flora has more tropical components;secondly,the relation between this flora and the paleoflora of Gondwana is close to some extent;and it is believed that the flora comes from the Cathaysia flora.
