The Compilation of the Career Decision-making Questionnaire for College Students

Abstract

Based on an overview of former studies and open-ended investigation,the Career Decision-making Questionnaire is compiled according to the Career Maturity Theory of Crites and used to test 320 both undergraduates and graduates from four universities in Fuzhou.Then the exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses are applied to the data.The result of study on the questionnaire indicates that CDMQ has a good validity and acceptable reliability.The questionnaire needs to be revised and it can be used as the basis of the future researches about Career Decision-making of college students.The CDMQ consist of six dimensions,including career knowledge,career goals,career beliefs,career preparation,selection ability and self-evaluation.
