A harmony quantitative analysis of the system of urban human settlement and tourism development in Yangtze River Delta economic zone

The paper analyzes the contents of typical tourist cities and urban human settlement. Then it uses PCA method and fuzzy mathematics and takes 16 tourist cities in Yangtze River Delta economic zone as example. We work out the comprehensive scores f( x) and g( x) and the coordinating degree. The results shows that: Shanghai,Nanjing,Hangzhou and Wuxi,f( x) g( x),which shows that the tourism development of these four cities and urban human settlement are in good coordination stage. Ningbo,Nantong,Suzhou,Changzhou,Jiaxing,Yangzhou and Zhenjiang,f( x) g( x),the urban human settlement and tourism are in an intermediate coordination stage. Shaoxing,Taizhou,Zhoushan,Taizhou and Huzhou,f( x) g( x),the development of the tourism scores are higher than urban human settlement's. The coordinating degrees are lower.
