Abstract
A common problem with the open channel in silty mud coast area is siltation,and the drastic sand siltation under the actions of storm wave occurred frequently.In this paper,it is pointed out that there are other two siltation modes,silt flowslide siltation and channel bank landslide siltation besides suspended load siltation,bed load siltation and layer load siltation.The main siltation model for open channel under normal wave conditions is suspended load+bed load+layer load siltation model,and that under storm wave conditions is suspended load+bed load+layer load+silt flowslide+bank landslide siltation model.
