Efficacy and safety of dezocine on postoperative analgesia after thyroid operation

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of dezocine on thyroid postoperative analgesia.Methods 146 patients with elective thyroid resection( ASA Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ) from June 2011 to June 2012 were randomly divided into two groups,73 cases in each group.Control group: 0.9% sodium chloride injection + 10 mg morphine + 10mg dexamethasone( 10 mL); treatment group: 0.9% sodium chloride injection + 10 mg dezocine + 10 mg dexamethasone( 10 mL).Analgesia pump was connected at the end of the surgery.The VAS,hemodynamic index and adverse reactions at different time points after operation in the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference in the VAS and hemodynamic indexes at 2,4,8,12,24,48 h after operation between the two groups( P 0.05).The incidences of nausea,vomiting and skin itching of treatment group were lower than those of control group( P 0.05).Conclusion Dezocine has exact effect on postoperative analgesia after thyroid operation,it can effectively relieve postoperative incisional pain,reduce the incidence of nausea and vomiting with high security and tolerability,it is worthy of clinical use.
