INFECTION BY UREAPLASMA UREALYTICUM AND MYCOPLASMA HOMINIS: DRUG-RESISTANT ANALYSIS IN 499 CASES

Objective To analyze patients with ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) or mycoplasma hominis(MH) infection identified in reproductive center of our hospital,and investigate the pathogen's drug resistance to nine antibiotics and provide a re-ference for clinical therapy of the infection. Methods By using a kit made by Zhuhai Lizhu Reagent Corporation for UU and MH culture,patients ready to have a test-tube baby in the Center-January to June 2012-underwent a test of UU and MH.In 499 patients with a positive result,a drug resistant analysis was conducted. Results The drug resistance of mycoplasma,from high to low,was in order of ofloxacin(81.8%),roxithromycin(78.6%),levofloxacin(71.1%),sparfloxacin(61.3%),azithromycin(46.5%),josamycin(35.7%),clarithromycin(12.0%),doxycycline(1.0%),and minocin(0.4%). Conclusion The resis-tance of mycoplasma to deoxycycline and minocin is low,and that to ofloxacin,levofloxacin and sparfloxacin is high.A drug sensitive test should be enhanced for rational use of antibiotics so as to raise the curative effect.
