Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of combined trabeculectomy for advanced primary glaucoma with tubular visual field.?Methods 78 cases(93 eyes) of advanced primary glaucoma with tubular visual field were performed trabeculectomy with intraoperative(application) of Mitomycin-C and releasable sutrureofscleralflap.?ResultsThe patients followed up for a mean of 18 months(ranged from 7 to 60 months),86 of 93 eyes(92.47%) intraocular pressure was less than 21 mmHg,and 72 of 93 eyes(77.42%) was less than 15 mmHg at six months postoperatively.The intra-or postoperative complications were less.?Conclusion Combined trabeculectomy is an effective and safe treating method for advanced primary glaucoma with tubular visual field.
