Abstract
The optimization of alloy composition design and heat treatment technology of a new special hot precision forging die steel were investigated according to the characteristics of the hot precision forging die′s working condition and failure status.The practical application indicates that the die steel which has significantly longer service life than 3Cr2W8V,H13 and HM1 steels,can meet the requirement of the hot precision forging die′s working condition.
