Abstract
Objective To detect bile anaerobic bacteria and their actiones in patients with gallstone. Methods Anaerobic bile culture was done by automatic detection system in 67 gallstone patients with cholecystectomy. Results The ratio of positive anaerobic bacteria culture was 55.2%(37/67), including 4 patients with obligate anaerobe bile culture positive only. B.fragilis was the main kind of anaerobic bacteria in bile. Conclusions There may have some connection between anaerobic infection and gallstone formation. The patients with obligate anaerobic bacteria positive only have a long term history of chronic cholecystitis and display no improvement of the clinical symptoms by antimicrobile treatments.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
