Abstract

Since there are such disadvantages in the traditional mode of construction project purchasemanagement as complex procedure, artiticially imposed factors, retarded information, low efficiencyand profit of purchase, a web-based mode is presented, combined with modern purchase managementtheories. This mode helps cut down purchase cost, improve purchase efficiency and promoteenterprises' competitive power. It is thus important to study the procedure, management control andduty of purchase management as far as the web-based mode is concerned.
