Abstract
Objective:To investigate the influence of serum uric acid to predict the pre-eclampsia and their perinatal outcome. Methods:The serum level of uric acid was measured in 77 cases with pre-eclampsia and 44 cases normal pregnancy in the hospital. The changes of the serum uric acid, liver and renal function in two groups, and the relation between different serum uric acid and the pre-eclampsia and their perinatal outcome were analyzed. Results:The levels of UA,Cr,BUN,ALT,AST,Mg2+ in pre-eclampsia were all significantly higher in pre-eclampsia than that in normal pregnant women(P0.01),and the levels of Alb,A/G,Ca2+ were all significantly lower than that in normal pregnant women(P0.01).In pre-eclampsia,there was significantly difference in the Cr、BUN、Alb among high serum uric acid group and normal serum uric acid group(P0.01),but there was no significantly difference in the ALT,AST,A/G,Ca2+,Mg2+(P0.05);The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, abnormal renal function in high serum uric acid group was higher than that in normal serum uric acid group(P0.01),but the incidence of uterine-incision delivery, placental abruption and abnormal Liver function was no significantly difference(P0.05);The newborn weight,Apgar score in high serum uric acid group was lower than that in normal serum uric acid group(P0.01),and the incidence of premature labor,FGR and perinatal mortality rate in high serum uric acid group were all higher than that in normal serum uric acid group(P0.05).Conclusion:High serum uric acid level may be correlated closely with pre-eclampsia and perinatal outcome, and is the sensitive index to predict early abnormal renal function in pre-eclampsia.
