Changes of serum endothelin and D-dimer level in patients with acute pancreatitis

Abstract

Objective To investigate the diagnostic significance of plasma endothelin(ET) and D-dimer(D-D) for severity of acute pancreatitis(AP).Methods Plasma ET and D-D concentration were detected and compared in 90 cases of AP,including 42 cases for severe AP(SAP) group and 48 cases for mild AP(MAP) group,and 40 cases of healthy subjects(control group).Results Compared with control group and MAP group,the plasma ET and D-D level were elevated in SAP group(P0.05).With the increasing of APACHEⅡscore,the content of ET and D-D also increased.Conclusion Detection of plasma ET and D-D concentration might have judgement value to severity of AP.
