Abstract
Objective To investigate the levels of P-selection,IL-6,D-dimer,and the relationship between and the disease severity in patients with acute pancreatitis(AP),and to suggest the disease severity and therapeutic choice. Methods Plasma concentrations of P-selection,IL-6 and D-dimer were evaluated by ELISA methods in 34 patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP) and 22 patients with mild acute pancreatitis(MAP),and were also compared in acute pancreatitis 36 patients with SIRS and 20 patients with non-SIRS.results were analyzed by One-Way ANOVA,Pearson correlations and ROC curve. Results There was significant difference in P-selection,IL-6,D-dimer levels between SAP and MAP.As compared with the non-SIRS group, the plasma concentrations of IL-6 and D-dimer were much higher in SIRS(P0.01),The increased P-selection level was related to D-dimer in AP(γ=0.463,P0.001),IL-6 level was correlated to D-dimer(γ=0.276,P=0.013),D-dimer had larger area under the ROC curve in diagnosing SAP.Conclusion P-selection,IL-6 and D-dimer increased significantly in SAP compared with MAP.Increased significantly D-dimer tended better to distinguish SAP from AP.
