Comparative Analysis on Time Character of Attack between China Men's Volleyball Team and World Top Teams

By means of literature review,video observation and statistics,and mathematic statistics,this paper analyzed the time character of attack in volleyball match in Beijing Olympic Games and made a comparative study between the Chinese men's volleyball team and the world's powerful teams such as America,Brazil and Italy.The result shows that:1) the tempo of the powerful jumping service in Chinese team is slower than in the world's powerful teams as a whole and;2) except the tempo of attack of the middle blocker,other tempo of the attack in Chinese team are slower,especially when the first pass is not well.The result indicates that the Chinese men's Volleyball Team should reinforce the receiving training to ensure the fast and capricious tactics using in match and the fast attack system of Chinese volleyball team is orientated towards all direction.
