Abstract

Liao dynasty was founded by Qidan nationality in ancient China.In order to consolidate the ruling basis of the dynasty,the rulers introduced Confucian culture of the central plain.Under the support of the rulers,the Confucian culture of the central plain played a very important role in Liao dynasty's political,economy,ideological,cultural and educational fields during 200 years' ruling of Liao dynasty.
