Abstract

Earthquake Emergency Response has played an important role in Earthquake Disaster Mitigation.Earthquake Emergency Response firstly started in Xingtai Earthquake in 1966 in China.And in Liaoning Province it had started before Haicheng M7.3 Earthquake in 1975.This paper reviewed the earthquake emergency work of Haicheng M7.3 Earthquake in 1975,and discussed the work effect and existing shortages.It is considered that this earthquake emergency work was an effective emergency practice,which has provided working experience in Earthquake Emergency Response of Liaoning Province,and provided a solid base for Earthquake Emergency Response System.
