Abstract
The field trial was carried out to study the efficacy of 4 fungicides namely 25% EC propiconazol, 25% EC myclobutanil, 25% EW tebuconazole and 43% SC mancozeb on control of banana leaf spot diseases caused by Cercospora musae Zimm, Cordana musae (Zimm) Hohn and Helminthosporium torulosum (Syd.) Ashby in Chengmai, Hainan. The results showed that the control effects of new three fungicides propiconazol, myclobutanil and tebuconazole were better than that of common fungicide mancozeb and had a longer persistent duration. Of them, propiconazol had the best control effect (84.80%) and the longest persistent duration (77.57% after spraying 21 days). The intervals of application for the four fungicides were 20~25, 12~15, 15~20 and 7~10 days respectively.
