Abstract

It is under the imperial civil examination system that Hui people learned Han culture. Based on the predominant culture and politics, the Confucian culture popularized Chinese language among Hui people by carrying out the imperial civil examination system, which made Hui people assimilated in ideology by Confucianism, and in customs by Han people. Confucian culture is rooted in the cultural life of Hui people. Hui people endeavored to adapt Islamic culture to Confucian culture, which established the important position of Confucianism in Hui culture. It is characteristic of Islamic culture.
