Abstract

With the development of society,there have appeared a lot of modern Chinese neologisms.This article gives a classification of these Chinese new words from the perspective of linguistic synchronic description:syntactic word formation,morphological word formation,old words with new meaning,rhetoric word formation,abbreviation word formation,the number and letter word formation,then it analyzes the characteristics of these neologisms.
