Abstract
The enhanced video input processor SAA7111A,which is produced by Philips Corporation,implements AD conversion and decoding at the beginning of picture processing.In this paper,the functions of the SAA7111A are introduced,and the design methods of the hardware and software of the FPGA board for realizing the function of video picture processing by means of the SAA7111A are described in detail.
