Status is the social characteristic and the basic social symbol which in all form of society individual and the community possess.Since the People's Republic of China has founded,the Chinese Peasants' status has changed from emancipated peasant to national peasant to social peasant to new-style peasant as the policy changes.The changes of peasants' status is mainly decided by our party's rural policy and practice,is stipulated and arranged by our country' s legal system.Penetrating humanistic practice in the rural policy has significance to carry out people oriented and cultivate the new peasant under the new situation.
