Abstract
ObjectiveTo study the effects of glycyrrhizic acid(GL) on bladder carainoma cellline T24 cell, proliferation and apoptosis. MethodsThe effect of GL on cell proliferation of T24 was measured by MTT assay.Cell apoptosis of T24 induced by GL was evaluated by flow cytometry with Annexin V / PI staining morphological observation. ResultsCompared with the control,T24 cell proliferation was decreased after treatment with GL at the dose of 500,800 and 1 000μg/ml 24,48 and 72 h later,OD value was decreased, and apoptotic cells were increased. ConclusionGL can directly inhibit T24 cell proliferation and induce apoptosis.
