Abstract

News,which reflects social problems and ideologies,is one of the main objects of critical discourse analysis(CDA).This paper aims to introduce the definition and theoretical framework of CDA,and explore the relationship among language,power and ideology by analyzing a news report in New York Times from the perspective of CDA.
