On the Reliance of English Listening Comprehension on Intra-linguistic Context

English listening comprehension is the most difficult point in English teaching.How to improve English listening comprehension is the problem we have to solve.Based on the concept of context,theories of semantics and cognitive psychology,the paper probes into the reliance of listening comprehension on intra-linguistic context by analyzing concrete examples in teaching.The aim is to reveal the importance of context in listening teaching,and lead students to combine context with the information of listening positively and understand what they hear by using context factors.
