Abstract
As far as the critical point of ancient and modern literary language is concerned,at least there are six reasons.First,Chinese vernacular novels have been for more than one thousand years.Second,vernacular and speeches at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries have given a strong push.Third,various pinyin characters schemes and national language united movement have given a promotion.Fourth,government has issued an order that textbooks be changed from classical Chinese into vernacular.Fifth,The Bible has been translated into vernacular and there are some literary factors.Sixth,the magazine New Youth advocates strongly,and Lu Xun,Zhou Zuo-ren and other writers have introduced some new words and exact grammar.
