Research of treatment of relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma with Gemcitabine plus Cisaplatin

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of the treatment of relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma by Gemcitabine plus Cisplatin.MethodsFifteen patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma were treated by Gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2 on the 1st day and 8th day,and Cisplatin 25 mg/m2 from the 1st to 3rd days. This was repeated every three weeks.ResultsAmong the 15 patients,there were 4 cases of CR(26.7%),6 PR ,4SD and 1PD;the overall remission rate(CR+PR)was 66.7%.The major toxicities were hematological toxicity,nausea and vomiting.ConclusionsGemcitabine plus Cisplatin regimen is safe and effective for patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
