Abstract

Females in the Tang Dynasty lived in a relatively free and open social environment.Therefore,women sports activities were extraordinarily noticeable.Not only did the women of the palace and the aristocracy loved sports activities in general,but many ordinary women also took part in.It is a rare phenomenon in women′s history of the ancient China.It reflects the spirit of the females in the Tang Dynasty.And it is also a typical manifestation of the expansion of social activities and the improvement of social status of the females in the Tang Dynasty.
